As the winner of the 2012 McWane Ergo Cup Competition, the team at Pacific States represented McWane at this year’s National Ergo Cup Competition and we are proud to announce that they were awarded the Risk Reduction Excellence Award! The Excellence awards are unique because they are voted on by all of the conference attendees.
Le projet de Pacific States consistait en l'installation d'un ou de plusieurs coins pneumatiques sur l'extracteur de tuyaux afin de casser le noyau de sable, ce qui a éliminé la nécessité de frapper le noyau 6–8 fois avec une masse de 14 livres. Cette tâche était exécutée jusqu'à 20 à l'heure pour chaque tuyau produit, 10 heures par jour.
